We sing “All For Your Glory Lord"
The Psalm says “Sing to the LORD a new song” (Psalm 96:1). Last Sunday at two of our services we had the beautiful experience of hearing a new song written and put together by our own team!
And it was so fitting. The lyrics reflect the big themes of Ephesians, but specifically the theme of the sermon — note the line 'By your Spirit help us love’!
And we read on Sunday, "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord” (Ephesians 5:18-19). How good to hear our brothers and sisters do just that! And this Sunday we get to sing it ourselves!
Here are the lyrics for your reflection and blessing:
Verse 1
O brothers and sisters we gather around
Bringing our burdens we lay them all down
Meeting as one here to see Jesus now
Find joy in the battle don’t give up the fight
Our God's not done working to make us like Christ
We walk here together the body of Christ
Chorus 1
As we meet right here to know you more
Help us to walk in love
To be the church that you have called
Living all of our days all for your glory Lord

Living all for your glory Lord
Verse 2
Once living as sinners but now we are saints
Rejoicing in Jesus the rest of our days
Longing to see you our Saviour our God
Washed clean and made holy redeemed by his blood
Worthy to worship give praise to our God
With one voice we’re singing all glory to God
Bridge
Lord heal us change our hearts
By your Spirit help us love
Forgive us when we fail to live as one
Lord lead us give us faith
Like Jesus to see your grace
We need you to make us like you God
