Holiday Club 2026 – Join the Mission!

I’m so thankful for Sarah and her Connect Kids team. As someone who came to Christ as a kid I know just how vital this ministry is. This July we all have an opportunity to get involved and reach out to our community. Sarah writes:

Holiday Club is a unique opportunity for us to reach out to children and their families, welcoming them to discover who Jesus is and how knowing Him changes lives.

Our culture may claim to know about Jesus, but many people are still in the dark about who He really is. Some see Jesus as merely a historical figure, a good man, or a wise teacher—but He is so much more than that.

This year at Holiday Club, we'll be shining a light on the truth of who Jesus really is. Through our theme, children will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, while discovering that Jesus is the Light who brings hope to a dark world. They will learn that Jesus is not simply a matter of opinion—He is who Scripture says He is: the perfect, proven, and powerful Son of God.

Theme Verse

"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'" – John 8:12

Throughout the week, children will sing, dance, create crafts, bake, play games, and spend time exploring God's Word together in both large and small groups.

Our prayer is that many children and families will come and hear the good news of Jesus. To make this happen, we need lots of helping hands!

We'll be transforming the foyer, auditorium, and halls into colourful, themed spaces ready to welcome people.

Holiday Club

• Wednesday 15 July – Friday 17 July

• 9:00am – 3:00pm daily

We are looking for volunteers to assist in a variety of areas, including:

• Slides

• Food preparation (morning and afternoon tea for the kids and lunch for the team)

• Baking assistance (Thurs only)

• Craft (K–2) (Wed only)

• STEM and light-themed activities (Wed only)

• First Aid

• Photography

• Registration desk

• General support alongside group leaders

If you'd like to be involved, please come along to our information and sign-up meeting this Sunday at 12:00pm in the Main Hall.
