Mothers Union
Mothers Union has the goal of sharing Christ’s love by encouraging, strengthening, and supporting marriage and family life. In our Sydney diocese, the ministry has been established for 125 years! Our Dapto Branch first met 106 years ago and has been a blessing for many over this long period of time. Hospital visiting and supporting people at court are some of the practical ways we have supported our community, as well as prayer and support for many projects and ministries overseas.
Last year our Dapto branch leadership, after careful consideration and prayer, decided to close the branch, to lighten their administrative load. However, members will join Mothers Union Sydney Diocese and continue to meet monthly.
As the official Dapto branch closes, we are celebrating this wonderful ministry with a closing service of Thanksgiving and Holy Communion, followed by lunch.
When: Tuesday 24th February 2026, at 11am
Where: St Luke’s, Brownsville
All are welcome to attend.
As Mothers Union Sydney Diocesan members, the first monthly meeting will be Tuesday 24th March 2026, at 10.30am, at St Luke’s Hall, Brownsville. All are welcome to come along for prayer, fellowship, and morning tea. For more details, please speak to Joan Tasker.
Grace and peace,
Mark
