Illumination Station - Holiday Club

Wow! What a great Kids Club last week! We’re so thankful to the Lord for many answered prayer. Sarah Doughton, our Children and Youth Minister has shared her highlights:

Last week, Connect Kids' Illumination Station Holiday Club was a wonderful three days of fun, friendship and discovering who Jesus is. We were thrilled to welcome 95 children across the three days, with around 40 incredible volunteers generously giving their time to serve and make the week possible.

Throughout the week, we explored who Jesus really is, discovering that He is the Promised, Perfect, Powerful and Proven Son of God, and that He is God's plan for forgiveness. It was exciting to see children engaging with God's Word, asking thoughtful questions and learning about Jesus—some for the very first time.

We praise God that on Friday, seven children made the decision to follow Jesus, 17 Bibles were given out, and many seeds of faith were planted in young hearts.

On Friday evening, we gathered with families, our church community and friends to celebrate all that God had done throughout the week. It was such an encouragement to see so many people come together to hear what the children had learned and to celebrate an amazing week of ministry.

A huge thank you to everyone who served so faithfully throughout the week. Whether you led a group, prepared food, welcomed families, prayed behind the scenes or helped in countless other ways, your willingness to serve made a lasting impact.

Please continue to praise God for His protection over the children and volunteers during the week, and pray that He will keep working in the hearts of the children and their families. Our prayer is that many more will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and become part of our church family.
