KYCK Report
What an incredible weekend our youth and leaders had at KYCK!
Last weekend, 25 youth and 8 leaders travelled to Katoomba, where we spent time diving into the book of Jonah and discovering more of God’s unrelenting love. We were challenged to reflect on the ways we might be tempted to run from God, and to consider what we may still be holding back from Him. We were reminded that we can run to God in every circumstance, and were given the opportunity to turn and follow Jesus—whether for the first time or by recommitting our lives to Him.
Praise God that two of our youth made the decision to follow Jesus for the first time, and three others recommitted to Him, surrendering areas of their lives they had previously held back.
Alongside this, we had such a great time praising God, taking part in a Jonah-themed scavenger hunt, and growing together in community.
Thank you for your prayers, for sending your young people along, and a huge thank you to our incredible leaders who faithfully serve each week—pointing our youth to Jesus with passion, love, and grace.
Blessings,
Sarah
