Loo-vely renos! ️️✨🚽✨

So… this just happened! … Zoë Vesey, who helped coordinate the project on behalf of Parish Council, explains:

The bathrooms located near the main hall have recently undergone a much-needed spruce up! Those back bathrooms were one of the few parts of the building that were looking… shall we say ‘unloved’. We wanted them to not only look presentable for our ministry groups and external bookings, but also be as accessible and useful as feasibly possible in their current layout.

With the blessing and help from members of our own community, we were able, on a small budget, to make a huge improvement and extend the life of these bathrooms. They now have bright walls, shiny mirrors, kid-friendly toilet seats, and wall-mounted change tables.

These brothers and sisters have put the following Scripture into action:

“in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant” Philippians 2:3-7

Praise God for our loos, and the dozen people who helped make them loo-vely again!
