KYCKing Goals

One of the joys of starting at DAC has been watching the body of Christ in action here. People serve in so many ways! Last weekend, a team of our Dapto Youth leaders served the next generation of our church by taking them to the KYCK youth convention in Katoomba. Behind the scenes so many of you prayed for our young people.

Zoe Vesey from the Youth Leaders team writes:

Dapto Youth had an incredible time at KYCK last weekend. Over 6 sessions we opened the book of Galatians and were encouraged to accept the freedom that only comes through Jesus. Praise God 15 of our youth responded to the call to commit, recommit or ask questions about faith and Jesus.

We also enjoyed amazing music, exchanging friendship bracelets, exploring Leura (and the lolly shop), winning ducks, being first in line for merch (very early in the morning) and so much more.

Thank you so much for partnering with us in prayer and financially so our youth could have this experience. Please continue to pray for our youth to live in true freedom, in faith in the Son of God who loves us.

Deuteronomy 6:7 says to ‘impress’ the commands of the LORD ‘on your children’. Let’s take up Zoe’s call to continue in prayer for our youth to believe and live out the gospel of Jesus.
