Praying for Iran (PS: and Micah!)

What do we pray as our hearts grieve for the situation in Iran and the Middle East? I have missionary friends in the area, and have friends born in the countries affected. The following prayer points shared by Open Doors Australia have been helpful for me:

Pray for peace, protection, and wisdom for the people of Iran and the Middle East amid violence and uncertainty.

Pray for courage and hope among Iranian Christians, that even in loss and fear, they would know that they’re not forgotten and not alone.

Pray for leaders and decision-makers worldwide to act justly and speak boldly for freedom of religion and belief.

Pray with an Iranian believer, “may God bring light out of darkness and peace out of turmoil."
